ATLJapanese provides Atlanta-area residents with fluency-focused private & group Japanese lessons, as well as translations, travel consultation, & other language services. I have devised an intensive curriculum for students who wish to reach near-native fluency as efficiently as possible.

Students can expect to learn the basics of Japanese in 3-5 weeks and learn over 1000 kanji in 4 months. A committed student can expect fluency in two years. I also offer adaptive study plans to meet a variety of goals, including travel prep, personal enrichment, reconnecting with Japanese family, or engaging with Japanese culture. Learn more about my curriculum here.

Our first meeting is FREE and there is no pressure to continue! We will discuss your Japanese learning goals and develop a tentative study plan together. I will provide you with study resources such as textbooks, customized flashcards, and native immersion materials. I was formally located in Midtown but now meet with students virtually.
